    We have chosen the Marriott Springhill Suites as our official hotel in Statesboro. Because of that we have received a discounted hotel rate as well as a block for Homecoming at discounted rates. Marriott is the largest hotel chain in the world and is renowned for their hospitality. It is located on the 301 Bypass not far from the house.

    To get a room from our "Hotel block" you must RSVP for Homecoming.

     

    We believe have accommodated all room requests to date, but we will reconcile next week and start sending out the RSVPs by 10/15/2010. Unfortunately we don't have full time staff to manage this process, but we welcome volunteers. If you would like to make other arrangements at other hotels, please feel free to, but let us know so you don’t get double-charged.


    Note that rooms from our "Hotel block" at the Springhill Suites are available only through our Homecoming RSVP and are for Theta Kappa Alumni only on a first come, first serve basis. Hotel reservations for homecoming may not be made directly with the hotel for this block. Priority is for alumni who will stay Friday and Saturday night, but we believe we can accomodate exceptions as well since some alumni will come in for Thu-Sat and some will want Sat. night only.

  • Hotel Details

     

    The regular rate for the hotel is $109 plus tax (12%), but a discounted rate of $89 rate is extended to Sigma Nu alumni, parents, and friends by calling the hotel and asking for the rate you can use it anytime but special event weekends and Homecoming. This rate is for all stays except for some special event timeframes. Please use the rate and tell them "Sigma Nu", so they can track our usage and provide additional discounts. The homecoming rates will be between $129, $139, and $149 for Friday/Saturday night stays (regularly $179 for special event and some game weekends), but is $89 for Wednesday, Thursday, or other nights. The hotel is directly adjacent to the hotel is the conference center which was used for the "Re-Chartering & Initiation" Weekend. This is a new hotel.
