Virtual Alumni Meeting

On behalf of Alumni Chapter Commander, Josh Calhoun (0804), you are cordially invited to our next Virtual Alumni Meeting, which is our Annual Alumni Business Meeting. This replaces our Alumni Meeting previously held at Homecoming and we will provide updates on the chapter, alumni chapter, AAB, alumni officer elections and house corporation as well as updates from Homecoming 2026, so we have a lot to discuss.
Last Fall, we had Robert Williams (0258), our Founding Commander from 1967, to provide a brief update and the history of the chapter when we started. This Spring, we will have Jerry Sellers (0002), our Chartering Commander from 1970, will provide a brief update on the early days. This will become a tradition at these meetings and each year, we will get a new snippet from various members as guest speakers.
This Fall, we will have Robert again, and wel will make sure the camera and audio are working well, so everyone has a great experience in the meeting and listening to the early history of our chapter. In the fall, we will also have the bi-annual alumni officers elections and a slate is being formalized. If you are interested in serving, please let us know.
The Alumni Chapter has planned three (3) scheduled alumni meetings per year, two that are online in addition to our Annual Alumni briefing at Homecoming on Saturday. One meeting will be in the Fall, our annual business meeting (after Homecoming), and one in the Spring (after our Spring Alumni Weekend). They will be scheduled to be close to our founding anniversary date (Nov. 17, 1967), our chartering anniversary date (May 10, 1970), and the other the Saturday morning of Homecoming. The two Alumni Business Meetings will be held online (rather than Homecoming), so that the largest and widest audience may attend. The online meeting dates we have planned as of now are:
- 2026 SPR: Tue., May 12, 2026, at 7:00 pm
- 2026 FALL: Tue., Nov. 17, 2026, at 7:00 pm
- 2027 SPR: Mon., May 10, 2027, at 7:00 pm
- 2027 FALL: Wed., Nov. 17, 2027, at 7:00 pm
- 2028 SPR: Wed., May 10, 2028, at 7:00 pm
- 2028 FALL: Tue., Nov. 14, 2028, at 7:00 pm

This meeting will be recorded for alumni chapter members to replay and listen to, but we encourage you to attend on this date. We will try to hold to less than 45 minutes. We intend to convert this to a “video newsletter”, so it is easier to view.
